British Airways 2024 New Routes Revealed

With the beginning of 2024, British Airways has announced the launch of some new routes from London Heathrow, London Gatwick, and Edinburgh. These new routes will consist of both long-haul and short-haul routes. 

Additionally, the national flag carrier will also be making a comeback to London Stansted for the first time since the pandemic. 

The new route which will be added to the London Heathrow network includes, 

Abu Dhabi, UAE: Launching daily flights on 20 April 2024 and will be available from £449 return, after four years of hiatus. 

Izmir, Turkey: Launching on 18 May 2024 and will be available from £146 return, it will be conducted weekly on Saturdays. The fifth Turkish destination on the British Airways network.

The new route which will be added to the London Gatwick network includes,

Agadir, Morocco: Launching weekly four flights on 31 March 2024 and will be available from £138 return, It is the second Moroccan destination on British Airways’ route map and the first time after more than a decade. 

Travellers choosing to fly from London Stansted next summer will have a new premium airline option. It will become the fourth London airport the flag carrier will serve. The new route which will be added to the London Stansted network includes,

Florence, Italy: Launching on 18 May 2024 and will be available from £82 return, it will be conducted on Sundays. The fifth Turkish destination on the British Airways network.

Ibiza, Spain: Launching on 18 May 2024 and will be available from £72 return, it will be conducted on Sundays.

Nice, France: Launching on 18 May 2024 and will be available from £86 return, it will be conducted on Sundays.

The new route which will be added to the summer schedule of the Edinburgh network includes,

San Sebastian, Spain: Launching on 25 May 2024 and will be available from £164 return, it will be conducted weekly twice on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Olbia, Sardinia, Italy: Launching on 25 May 2024 and will be available from £176 return, it will be conducted weekly on Saturdays.
