Pegasus Introduced New UK-Turkey Direct Flight

Pegasus Airlines, a Turkish low-cost carrier, has introduced its new UK-Turkey direct flight between Bristol Airport and Istanbul’s Sabiha Gökçen International Airport in Turkey.

The UK-Turkey three-times-per-week direct flight took off for the first time on 8th July and will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Istanbul is growing in popularity with tourists as a city break destination, and as the city that spans two continents, it offers a host of different cultures and history to explore.

For those looking to go further afield, there are 150 destinations available within Türkiye and beyond across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia on the Pegasus Airlines network.

Rupert Lawrie, the Commercial Director at Bristol Airport, said, “Pegasus will be a fantastic addition to Bristol Airport, providing even more opportunities for people to explore Turkey and beyond.

“No longer do you need to travel to London to reach exotic destinations such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Morocco, and Doha, saving you time and additional pressure by flying from Bristol Airport. Your trip will start sooner when you fly from Bristol.

“It’s also good news for inbound tourism, for local communities who want to connect with family and friends, and for businesses in the Southwest and South Wales who have overseas interests.”

Flights from Bristol to Istanbul start at £70 one way, including taxes.
