At the GREAT FUTURES expo in Riyadh, a premier event to promote economic collaboration between the UK and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, British Airways confirmed the comeback of its Jeddah route.
The route, which is available for booking, will start service on November 4, 2024, year-round from the British Airways base at London Heathrow, to the Saudi Arabian metropolis.
The four weekly flights will supplement the daily service between Riyadh and Heathrow Terminal 5, which will improve connectivity to the Kingdom. The new flights will be operated by the Boeing 787 fleet.
Colm Lacy, Chief Commercial Officer of British Airways, spoke to the delegation in Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial District, “We have a long history of connecting families, friends and businesses in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with our home in London. There are significant opportunities for businesses in both countries, so we’re pleased we can re-build our connectivity and strengthen links between the two kingdoms.”
In honour of the launch, British Airways is now accepting reservations for return tickets in World Traveller (economy class) starting at 1905 SAR and Club World (business class) starting at 16079 SAR until June 5, 2024.
