British Airways is set to resume their much anticipated direct flights to Kuala Lumpur, reconnecting the UK with Malaysia’s vibrant capital city.
Starting this April, the airline will operate flights between London Heathrow and Kuala Lumpur for the first time since the COVID-19 lockdown.
This service was originally scheduled to resume in late 2024; however, it was postponed due to operational setbacks, specifically the delay in delivery of the Rolls Royce engine parts. During this time, direct flights between London and Kuala Lumpur were solely operated by Malaysia Airlines.
With KUL’s eagerly anticipated return as a British Airways destination, competition has returned to this well-liked location. Business travellers who rely on this vital flight line that links two significant financial hubs will find the route helpful.
According to flight schedules, the British Airways daily flights between London Heathrow and Kuala Lumpur will take off from LHR at 21:10 and land in KUL at 17:00 the following day, while another flight takes off from KUL at 23:10 and lands in LHR at 05:25 the next morning.
With this carefully planned schedule, British Airways customers now have more freedom and convenience thanks to this new route. Travelers may anticipate a smooth ride with a variety of class options for the 13-hour flight to meet every requirement on the daily flights to Kuala Lumpur.
Passengers can anticipate these daily flights to be operated via the cutting-edge Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which provides four cabin classes with an exceptional experience. The itinerary ensures a memorable Southeast Asian experience, whether travelling for work or pleasure.
Malaysia’s vibrant capital city is a place where modernity and tradition coexist harmoniously. The breathtaking Petronas Twin Towers are part of its famous skyline, but the streets below are nevertheless busy, culturally diverse, and historically significant.
Although tourists are welcome in Malaysia throughout the year, the best time to visit is during the dry season, which runs from May to July. Because of this, the route’s April start date is ideal. Because of the lower humidity levels throughout these months, outdoor recreation and sightseeing are much more accessible.
