Dhaka Ranks 6th on the List of Dangerous Cities for Tourists

With a score of 89.5 out of 100, Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, is the sixth most dangerous city for tourists among 60 cities in the world. Singapore ranked number one on the list of safest cities with a zero score. 

Forbes, an influential business magazine in the US, published this information in the list of advisors for tourists.

On this list, The Venezuelan city of Caracas ranked first and the Pakistani city of Karachi ranked second.

The ranking is determined by considering the crime risk, personal safety risk, health risk, infrastructure safety risk and digital safety risk of the City.

With a score of 93.12, Pakistan’s Karachi ranked second; Myanmar’s Yangon City ranked third with a score of 91.67, Nigeria’s Lagos ranked fourth with a score of 91.54 and Manila placed fifth place in the list with a score of 91.49.

After the capital of Dhaka, Colombia’s Bogota ranked seventh with a score of 86.70, Egypt’s Cairo ranked eighth with a score of 83.44 points, Mexico’s Mexico City ranked ninth with a score of 82.43 and Ecuador’s Quito ranked tenth with a score of 82.02, on the list of the most dangerous cities in the world for tourists.

Apart from this, Singapore has been recognised as the safest city. They are at the top with a score of zero out of 100. Japan’s Tokyo came in second place with a score of 10.72 points, Canada’s Toronto ranked third with a score of 13.60 points, Australia’s Sydney ranked fourth with a score of 22.28 points, and fifth place is the proud nation Switzerland’s Zurich with a score of 22.97 points.
