Easyjet to Suspend Flights to Tel Aviv in October

Easyjet Suspends Flights to Tel Aviv

In October, Easyjet, a British multinational low-cost airline, will suspend all flights to Tel Aviv as insiders say that at the moment, the route is not suitable for point-to-point traffic.

Throughout the summer, Easyjet is cancelling all of its flights to Tel Aviv. After October 27, flights to Israel will be available. Cancellation has been issued for all existing flight tickets.

As some airlines have suspended flights to and from Israel due to safety concerns following the Iranian attack on the country, the British airline may also experience weak demand as, according to insiders, Tel Aviv is not currently seeing a lot of point-to-point travel. Therefore, Easyjet decided to suspend flights to the city in October.

After a two-day break, Lufthansa started operating flights to Tel Aviv again on Tuesday. The city is an essential feeder route for the airlines’ transit hubs in Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna, and Zurich.
