Ryanair Puts a Sale on 20.8m UK Seats for Summer 2025

Ryanair has put more than 20 million seats to and from the UK on sale for its summer 2025 schedule.

After revealing that 20.8 million seats had gone on sale, the airline said it “continues to deliver more choice at the lowest fares in Europe.”

This amazing sale announcement comes after the budget carrier said it would start operating flights to Malaga from Teesside Airport next summer, led by the repeated requests from its passengers to visit the Costa del Sol resort.

Further details of departure points, frequencies, and new destinations are yet to be disclosed.

Jade Kirwan, the Head of Communications at Ryanair, said, “Ryanair is pleased to announce the launch of our summer 2025 schedule with 20.8 million seats available, as we continue to deliver more choice, reliability, and the lowest fares in Europe.

“Ryanair’s exciting new summer 2025 schedule is available to book now.”

Earlier in November, Ryanair reported an 18% dive in half-year profits, citing the high risk of further aircraft delivery delays as a possible reason.

Net profit at the no-frills carrier fell year on year to €1.79 billion as strong traffic growth of 9% to 115 million passengers was offset by lower airfares, which declined 7% in the peak summer second quarter. 

Michael O’Leary, the airline’s boss, also said its flights could be cut by “up to 10%” in 2025 due to the latest rise in air passenger duty.

O’Leary claimed the slashed capacity could represent up to five million passengers.
