Vietnam Airlines Restarts Daily Nonstop Flights from London Heathrow

Vietnam Airlines has decided to restart operating daily nonstop flights from London Heathrow to Vietnam this winter. These daily services to Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City have begun in October 2024.

The APEX five-star-rated airline will operate four weekly flights to Hanoi and three weekly flights to Ho Chi Minh City, all on next-gen Boeing B787-9 Dreamliners.

Operating from Heathrow Terminal 4, Vietnam Airlines offers the UK’s only nonstop flights to Vietnam. The flights are carefully scheduled to offer convenient overnight journeys in both directions, with onward connections via Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to multiple destinations throughout Vietnam, Asia, and Australasia, including Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, China, South Korea, Japan, and Australia.

The Winter 2024/25 schedule published by Vietnam Airlines has been in effect since October 28 October. The three weekly flights between Ho Chi Minh City and London Heathrow will be operated on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. And the four weekly flights between Hanoi and London Heathrow will be operated on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Return fares for economy class from London Heathrow start from GBP 748 per person. Vietnam Airlines’ Lotusmiles loyalty programme members can enjoy up to five per cent discount on flight tickets, as well as personalised offers, experiences, privileges, and incentives. New members registering before 31 December 2024 will receive 1,000 bonus miles.
