Wizz Air Unveils the First Unlimited Flight Subscription Program in Europe

The seventh-largest airline in Europe, Wizz Air has launched an innovative all-you-can-fly membership program for its whole network, a first for the European aviation industry. This incredible subscription program was introduced in collaboration with Caravelo, a travel-tech subscription specialist, offering unlimited flights for an annual fee.

Through this collaboration, this cutting-edge service was launched by Wizz Air that enables users to travel around the airline’s vast network as often as they choose. Members can reserve an unlimited number of flights for an annual cost of 499 euros, which will go up to 599 euros on Friday, as long as they do so within 72 hours of departure.

This most recent development builds on Wizz Air and Caravelo’s original successful collaboration, which saw the debut of Europe’s first subscription-based flight service last year. Under that service, consumers may book one one-way or one round-trip flight each month for a set monthly charge, as well as local and international flights from Poland to Italy.

Silvia Mosquera, Chief Commercial Officer at Wizz Air, commented on the expansion, stating, “Our collaboration with Caravelo has been instrumental in bringing this innovative subscription service to our customer base. The positive feedback from the initial deployments of our multi-pass product has encouraged us to expand our subscription offer further, proving the market’s readiness for flexible travel solutions.”

Caravelo, a Barcelona-based startup that raised 3.5 million euros in funding in September of last year, has developed subscription services for major airlines such as Alaska Airlines, Flysafair in South Africa, and Volaris in Mexico.

Caravelo’s CEO, Iñaki Uriz, expressed pride in the extended partnership with Wizz Air, remarking, “The expansion of our subscription service is a testament to our combined commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction in the travel industry. This marks a significant milestone for Caravelo and a major step forward in redefining air travel.”
