Unwarranted Pictures of a Plane Crash Surfaces, Turkish Flight Halted

Turkish Airlines’ subsidiary Anadolu jet’s flight has been halted at an Israeli airport following a plane crash photo on several passenger’s mobile phones.

According to Israeli aviation authorities (IAA), just as the plane was about to take off from Ben Gurion Airport, pictures of a plane crash surfaced on the passengers’ mobile phones.

Due to this incident, all the passengers, as well as the crew members, were immediately removed from the aircraft. Later, all their luggage was rechecked to ensure and enforce complete security and safety.

Several young Israeli individuals were placed on a list of suspects and thoroughly interrogated. After considering every possibility and following every lead, the plane took off about five hours late.

BBC has reported that the Anadolu jet Boeing 737 aircraft was carrying 160 passengers during the time of the flight.

During the flight, several passengers complained that pictures of a plane crash had been sent to their mobile phones.

After knowing about the matter the pilot took immediate action and called off the flight.

According to reports from the local media, all these images were sent to all the passengers with iPhones present on the flight using AirDrop. Hence it was done from a very close distance.

These images that were only sent to iPhone users on the flight were from the Turkish plane crash incidents that took place in 2009 in the Netherlands and 2013 in the United States of America.
