Ryanair has revealed that ahead of the much-awaited UEFA European Football Championship this summer, it has added more than 4,000 seats between the UK and Germany.
Jade Kirwan, Ryanair’s Head of Comms, said, “We’ve had record bookings from football fans travelling to Germany for what is set to be a spectacular European Championship this summer. To support this overwhelming demand, we have added over 4,000 extra seats from London and Manchester to Cologne, Dortmund, and Frankfurt so that England fans can catch all the big games and soak in that unreplaceable match day atmosphere.
Seats are expected to sell out fast so fans should book their low-fare Ryanair flights now to avoid missing out.”
The football matches will be taking place on the 16th of June between England and Serbia at Veltins-Arena, Gelsenkirchen; 20th of June between England and Denmark at Deutsche Bank Park, Frankfurt; and 25th of June between England and Slovenia at RheinEnergieStadium, Cologne.
Ryanair’s additional flights from Manchester and London Stansted airports to Cologne, Dortmund, and Frankfurt can now be booked online at ryanair.com.
