Aer Lingus Adds More Manchester-Orlando Flights

Aer Lingus has added more flights to its Manchester-Orlando route for the Winter 2024 schedule, as the transatlantic airline continues expanding in North England.

The additional flights during the peak winter period will improve the popularity of the Manchester-Orlando route of Aer Lingus. This will increase the current total number of flights on the route from three times per week to up to four times per week.

Customers looking for a cheery, fairy-tale trip can take advantage of the new, fourth weekly flight, which will run from December 18, 2024, to January 8, 2025, including a new service on Christmas Day.

Orlando, well-known for Universal Studios and Walt Disney World Resort, also offers tourists exhilarating experiences, a vibrant cultural scene, and tranquil green areas.

Susanne Carberry, Chief Customer Officer at Aer Lingus, said, “From family fun to winter sun, Aer Lingus’ Manchester network offers something for everyone.

“That is why we are thrilled to be adding extra flights from the North of England to Orlando during the Christmas school holidays – helping to make more dreams come true.

“The extra flights to Orlando will complement our existing transatlantic network which continues to prove popular with customers in the North of England.”

In addition to direct services to Belfast City and Dublin, the flag carrier will provide flights from Manchester directly to Barbados, New York, and Orlando this winter.

On all Aer Lingus flights, travellers can anticipate a cordial welcome, delectable in-flight cuisine, free in-flight entertainment, and a substantial baggage allowance for extended-haul travel.

The airline uses a fleet of wide-bodied Airbus A330s with roomy cabins and seating for all of its transatlantic flights from Manchester to New York JFK, Orlando, and Barbados.

Customers have two options when flying: the airline’s elegant Business Class, which features a 6.5-foot completely laid flatbed and a variety of seating arrangements for couples and solo travellers, or Economy Class, which has seats in a 2x4x2 configuration with a 13″ pitch.
