Aer Lingus Offers Dublin Roundtrips from USA for Under $600

Aer Lingus Offers Boston Roundtrips for Under $500

Recently, a number of cheap flights were made available by Aer Lingus, an Ireland-based low-budget airline, at the end of the summer and early fall. These flights can be ideal for a last-minute summer vacation to Europe.

A special discount on a round-trip ticket between Boston and Dublin in the airline’s economy class is offered by the airline through the fall for $498. Throughout the fall, passengers can also purchase a ticket to Dublin from New York’s JFK Airport for $502.

Moreover, Between September 11 and November 20, Aer Lingus will be selling direct tickets from the Midwest to Dublin for less than $575 round-trip in economy. The flights originate in Cleveland, OH, and Chicago, IL. The airline’s Economy-Saver category, which includes a meal and one carry-on bag, is where one will find the discounted tickets. Travellers can upgrade to the Economy – Smart fare category, which includes advanced seat selection and a checked bag, for about $90 extra.

The offers are all listed on the Aer Lingus website under a dedicated area for flights departing from the US. To get the cheapest flights, travellers can enter their maximum budget and the airport they will be travelling from.

Founded in 1936, Aer Lingus is the official airline of Ireland, complete with a quirky shamrock on the tail. The airline offers flights to Dublin from Boston, Washington, Philadelphia, Orlando, and other locations, as well as service from New York’s JFK to Dublin and Shannon.

Due to its unique status as a pre-clearance airport, Dublin’s airport can save international travellers a significant amount of time when they fly in and out. This allows passengers to avoid going through customs at the airport in the United States by completing the procedure in Dublin on-site, which can move much more quickly because fewer planes use the facility.

There is an increase in travel to Ireland from the USA. According to a news report on IrishCentral, over a million Americans travelled to Ireland in 2023, staying there for an average of eight days. The official tourism board of Ireland recently launched a new marketing campaign called “Fill your heart with Ireland” that highlights the country’s heritage and activities to advertise the destination.
