Dubai is Now Among the World’s Top Wedding Destinations

Dubai, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United Arab Emirates, has now emerged as one of the most sought-after wedding destinations as well. 

The city boasts a world-class infrastructure, picturesque resorts, luxury shopping experience, top-notch quality services, a safe environment and unique tourist attractions that have always invited visitors from all over the world, and now they are even considering it as a top contender for their destination wedding as it is frequently recommended by top wedding planners.

From 9-10 January, the 5th edition of the Dubai Global Wedding Excellence (GWE) retreat and forum was hosted in the city. The event enabled the representatives from the wedding, lifestyle and events industries to come together and share their respective ideas and perspectives with one another. Over 70 international wedding planners, experts and companies attended the event.

The retreat saw strong participation from Dubai’s traditional and emerging markets including countries from the Middle East, Africa and Asia, as well as India, UK and the US. The event showcased 11 hotel groups in the city including their new and ‘out of the box’ venues, as well as 12 major wedding industry suppliers.

The event highlighted Dubai’s vibrant culinary landscape, and the array of distinctive wedding locations in Dubai and also featured founders and leaders of international digital wedding platforms, while many key industry players participated in the event including Equifax, Encore, Wild Goose, FnP UAE, LiveInFive, Vidira, Royal Tent, Red Velvet, Soundkraft, Pure Magic and Event Houzz, Pangea, ALR, Party Social and Melrish.
