Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks Announce Major Expansions for Winter 24/25

In response to the ongoing demand for their popular Christmas Markets program, Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have announced a major expansion for Winter 24/25. Seven new flights have been added as a result of this expansion, including the company’s first-ever Christmas Markets program from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, as well as more capacity for other popular holiday itineraries.

The leading leisure airline and UK’s largest operator of European city breaks, with seven new routes on sale for Winter 24/25, including the launch of their first-ever Christmas Markets program from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, is responding to the continued popularity of European Christmas markets among travellers seeking the most genuine of festive experiences over the Christmas season.

Now there are 500 routes available for purchase across the Jet2 network as a consequence of this growth, the firms have achieved a noteworthy milestone and are providing customers and independent travel agencies with a great deal of choice and flexibility.

The new Christmas Market routes included Belfast International to Krakow, East Midlands to Vienna, Glasgow to Berlin, Glasgow to Vienna, Liverpool John Lennon to Krakow, Liverpool John Lennon to Prague and Manchester to Berlin.

Furthermore, due to the high demand the companies are seeing for their Winter 24/25 Christmas Markets, they have expanded their capacity and extended the Christmas Market season to other popular locations. 

During Winter 24/25, Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks will fly from eleven UK airports (Belfast International, Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool John Lennon, Manchester, Newcastle International, and London Stansted) to seven Christmas Market destinations: Berlin, Budapest, Cologne, Copenhagen, Krakow, Prague, and Vienna. Over 100,000 seats are available for purchase as part of the Winter 24/25 Christmas Markets program, which is a capacity increase of more than 30% over Winter 23/24.

Package options with Jet2CityBreaks include a selection of 2–5 star hotels in convenient locations, which serve as the ideal base from which to explore and experience the top Christmas Market destinations in Europe, as well as roundtrip flights with Jet2.com that include 22 kg of baggage and 10 kg of hand luggage.
