Qatar Airways Resumes Lisbon Flights to Expands European Network

A major step in expanding its European network, Qatar Airways has announced that year-round direct flights to Lisbon, Portugal, are once again available. The airline, which is well-known for providing outstanding service, will run six flights each week to Lisbon, allowing customers to easily connect to more than 170 locations worldwide, including 47 locations in Europe.

In response to the increased seasonal demand for travel to Lisbon, nonstop flights between Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS) in Lisbon and Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Doha have been reinstated. This calculated move demonstrates Qatar Airways’ dedication to boosting worldwide connectivity and lowering the cost of international travel.

Mr. Thierry Antinori, Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer, expressed his excitement while commenting on the resumption of the Lisbon route, “As we continue our network expansion in the European market, we are thrilled to welcome back Lisbon to our global network of more than 170 destinations. This addition reaffirms the airline’s dedication to connecting people and places, making international travel more accessible and convenient across our global network.”

Lisbon offers visitors looking for a variety of cultural experiences in an alluring destination with charming beaches, energetic towns, and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In addition to bolstering its European footprint, Qatar Airways has resumed service to Lisbon, which opens up new travel routes for Europeans to explore the Middle East, Africa, and the Indian subcontinent, including well-known locations like Bali, Bangkok, Delhi, Denpasar, Kathmandu, and Male.
