Ryanair Adds New Route to the Winter Schedule at Cornwall

Ryanair, the leading airline in the UK, adds new route to its winter schedule for flights to and from Cornwall, incorporating London-Stansted as a new and noteworthy addition. Flights will be operated on this new winter route twice a week starting from December 17th, complementing the existing winter 23/24 routes to Alicante, Dublin, Faro, and Malaga.

Ryanair’s Cornwall Winter 23/24 schedule consists of 5 routes including 4 new to Dublin, Faro, Malaga & London-Stansted. Due to these new additions, the traffic at Cornwall is estimated to grow to over 200K passengers p.a.

Ryanair is operating over 440 routes and carrying over 52m passengers p.a. to/from the UK on its fleet of 107 UK-based aircraft, driving year-round connectivity and inbound tourism which supports over 37,000 UK jobs.

By introducing the London-Stansted – Cornwall route for the winter of 2023/2024, Ryanair is actively contributing to Cornwall’s economic revival. The airline is playing a pivotal role in sustaining year-round tourism, making regional investments, and fostering the creation of more than 120 local jobs, thereby bolstering the area’s economic recovery.

Residents of Cornwall now have the opportunity to make reservations for Ryanair’s recently introduced route to and from the UK capital through Ryanair.com. This allows them to explore everything London has to offer, whether it’s for business, visiting friends and family, or engaging in some Christmas shopping before the festive season arrives.

Jade Kirwan, Ryanair’s Head of Communications, said, “Ryanair is pleased to build on our biggest ever winter schedule for Cornwall with the addition of our new London-Stansted route for winter 23/24, providing even more choice and value to our customers in the south-west as we continue to drive Cornwall’s economic recovery through our delivery year-round tourism, regional investment, and support of over 120 local jobs.

We first introduced our Cornwall – London-Stansted route for summer 24, and having seen such strong demand, we decided to bring it back for the winter season too. The winter route will operate twice weekly from Sun, 17th Dec ensuring that our customers in the south-west can continue to access the UK’s capital conveniently and on Ryanair’s infamously low fares, whether travelling for business, to see family and friends or for a spot of Christmas shopping ahead of the big day.”
