Cathay Pacific Increases Dhaka–Hong Kong Flights

Cathay Pacific, the flag carrier of Hong Kong, has decided to add another flight to its Dhaka–Hong Kong route and increase the total number of flights starting from September 5, 2023. This weekly addition will provide the passengers with more options to travel and will be operated every Tuesday from September.

The details of the first flight on September 5, 2023, are as follows, 

• On the night of September 5, Tuesday, Cathay Pacific’s flight is scheduled to depart from Hong Kong at 22:55.
• The flight will reach Dhaka at 01:00 on September 6, Wednesday.
• And the return flight is scheduled to depart on September 6, Wednesday at 02:10.
• The return will reach Hong Kong at 08:05 on September 6, Wednesday.

During the announcement, the Country Manager–Bangladesh and Bhutan of Cathay Pacific, Ahmed Reza, said, “The enhanced schedule will provide our customers more options to travel and further boost connectivity with Hong Kong and onward destinations. Cathay currently covers over 70 destinations around the world, catering to business travellers and students while leisure trips gradually increase.”

Therefore, this new additional flight Between the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka and the administrative region of China, Hong Kong, will give passengers a chance to directly access Hong Kong and all the connecting destinations like the United States, Chinese Mainland, Canada, Australia, Japan and South Korea.
