Emirates

Emirates, one of two flag carriers of the United Arab Emirates, recently announced their plans to increase weekly flights to and from Cairo. Effective 29 October 2023, the airline will operate 28 flights to and from Cairo weekly.

This operational boost will provide customers with more opportunities to connect to Dubai and beyond with the added advantage of enjoying the Emirates A380’s signature experience, which is deployed to 41 destinations worldwide. To be more precise, Emirates will operate four daily flights, 3 of which will be on the A380 and one will be on the Boeing 777.

In the MENA region, outside of Dubai, Cairo has the highest deployment of Emirates A380 services. This increase in seat capacity, adding more than 2,200 weekly seats, on the Dubai-Cairo route can help restore the country’s tourism.

The Emirates A380 experience is quite popular among travellers for the generous comfort and signature products and services it provides the passengers, especially the First Class suites, Onboard Lounge, and Shower Spa in the sky.

Emirates’ award-winning services and industry-leading products like First Class private suites, spacious lie-flat seats in Business Class and roomy seats in Economy Class.

Other facilities like Emirates’ well-known inflight entertainment system with over 5,000 channels of on-demand movies, music, TV shows, box sets and documentaries, in over 40 languages will be provided to guests in all classes. Passengers of the flights can also enjoy mouth-watering multi-course meals prepared by award-winning chefs.

Emirates has carried over 9.6 million passengers to and from Cairo since the April of 1986 when it first started operating flights to and from Cairo with 3 weekly flights. The frequency and capacity of these flights gradually increased with time as the demand of the customers also grew. And currently, Emirates operates 25 weekly flights to and from Cairo.
