Emirates Reveals New Route Network for New Aircraft

By September 2024, Emirates’ new A350 aircraft will be operated on new route network. The airline announced that Bahrain will be its first destination when it launches its brand-new A350-900 aircraft. The aircraft will be used for medium and short-haul flights.

By March 31, 2025, Emirates is expected to have all ten of the new A350 versions delivered. But as soon as they receive the planes in the next months, the airline intends to launch new routes. The first ten aircraft have a contemporary cabin layout with three cabins housing 259 economy class seats, 21 premium economy seats, and 32 next-generation business class seats. Now, travellers will be able to take advantage of the newest styles and enhanced comfort.

Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates Airlines, said, “The A350 will be a game-changer for Emirates, enabling us to serve regional points with superior operating efficiency and flexibility across the Middle East and GCC, West Asia and Europe. With the latest generation cabin products including more of our sought-after Premium Economy to more cities, top-notch in-flight entertainment technologies and an abundance of other customer-friendly features, the Emirates A350 builds on our long-standing commitment to investing in the very best customer experience in the sky. Flying the A350 to 9 cities in such a short period adds more premium cabin options and choice across geographies for our customers, and ensures we maintain our competitive edge and industry-leading position.”

The inaugural aircraft will fly to nine locations in Europe, West Asia, and the Middle East. Bahrain will get its first Emirates A350 flights on September 15 when daily services from Dubai arrive. By November 1, the frequency to Bahrain will be increased. Kuwait and Muscat are the second destinations offered by short-haul services.

Kuwaiti daily services will start on September 16, and daily services from Muscat will start on December 1. Regarding the Asia sector, Ahmedabad’s daily flights will start on October 27, while Mumbai will receive its first flight by October 27. Starting on January 1, 2025, there will be a fourth daily service to Columbo.

By December 1, daily flight services to Lyon and Bologna will begin, and on November 4, Edinburgh will join the Emirates new network.
