Ryanair Adds 1,100 Seats for Euros 2024

Ryanair, one of the leading budget carriers in the UK, has added over a thousand extra seats for fans heading to this summer’s Euros 2024 in Germany. 

The airline has revealed that it will release 11,000 extra seats to and from the UK for the highly anticipated Euros 2024 this June.

Ryanair has increased the number of seats on popular match routes, such as London Stansted to Dortmund and Frankfurt and Manchester to Cologne, in response to strong fan demand.

For the Euros only, there are temporarily brand-new routes, which are Glasgow to Cologne, Bristol to Frankfurt, and Edinburgh to Memmingen.

Jade Kirwan, Head of Comms at Ryanair, said, “It’s going to be an epic summer of football with the return of the Euros this June. To celebrate and make sure all footy fans can enjoy the Championship in person, Ryanair has added over 11,000 extra seats between Germany and the UK throughout June. This includes extra capacity on existing routes as well as the addition of several special one-off flights, including Edinburgh to Memmingen, Bristol to Frankfurt and Glasgow to Cologne ensuring that all fans can cheer on their team from a stadium seat and soak in the match-day atmosphere.

Ryanair anticipates a fast sell-out for the additional flights to Europe in 2024.

It was recently discovered that, before the event, fans from England had reserved more flights than any other country.
