Jet2.com and Jet2.holidays Add More Flights to the Favourite Italian Trio

In response to consumer demand for “La Dolce Vita,” Jet2.com and Jet2.holidays have announced a major expansion of their Italian programs, with thousands of additional seats going on sale to Sardinia, Sicily, and Verona across both Summer 24 and Summer 25.

With additional capacity from eight UK airports, the largest tour operator and third-largest airline in the UK is providing customers and independent travel agents with even more options when it comes to visiting these three Italian delights.

Due to high demand, the companies are expanding by extending the summer season and adding flights and holidays during peak times like late summer 24 and Easter 25.

Sicily’s culture, food, dramatic scenery, mighty Mount Etna, and beautiful beaches have all drawn tourists, and as a result, Jet2.com and Jet2.holidays have added flights and vacations for Summer 24 and Summer 25.

The businesses have added many flights to Sicily from Manchester and London Stansted, extending the Summer 24 season all the way to mid-November.

Just in time for Easter, a number of extra April flights from Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford, and London Stansted to Sicily have also been added to the Summer 25 schedule. More flights from Birmingham, Manchester, and London Stansted to Sicily have also been added for late summer 25.

Given that Sardinia provides travellers with the most genuine Italian experiences and is frequently included in lists of must-see European beach destinations, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have increased the number of flights from Manchester Airport in September, October, and November for the late-summer 24 travel period, as well as the number of flights from London Stansted in November.

Furthermore, the companies have expanded the Summer 25 season to Sardinia by launching a variety of flights from Birmingham, Manchester, and London Stansted Airports in April, which is perfectly suited for Easter.

Verona, which not only offers access to the breathtaking Lake Garda but also opens up the lovely ancient city setting for Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, is the third Italian location that is getting more capacity.

Travellers and independent travel agents will have plenty of options in the late summer months thanks to the additional flights that Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are offering from Edinburgh, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, and Newcastle International Airports to Verona on October 24.

The firms have also added flights from Birmingham, Edinburgh, and Manchester in time for Easter, extending the Summer 25 season to Verona. Jet2 has responded to travellers who want to spend their late summer in Verona and Lake Garda by increasing the number of flights from Belfast International, Edinburgh, the East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, and Newcastle International on September 25.

A total of 20,000 additional outward seats have been added as a consequence of the announcement. The extra flights and vacations that the UK airport is offering are:

Belfast International – Verona (September 2025)
Birmingham – Sicily (April and November 2025), Sardinia (April and May 2025), and Verona (April and May 2025)
East Midlands-Verona (October 2024 and 2025).
Edinburgh – Verona (October 2024, April 2025, and October 2025) and Sicily (April 2025)
Leeds Bradford – Verona (October 2024 and 2025).
Manchester – Sicily (November 2024 and 2025), Sardinia (September/ October/ November 2024, April/May 2025, and September/October 2025), and Verona (April 2025).
Newcastle International – Verona (October 2024 and 2025).
London Stansted – Sicily (October 2024, October 2025, and November 2025), and Sardinia (November 2024 and April/May 2025).

Steve Heapy, the CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2.holidays, said, “Our Italian programme is enjoying strong demand, which comes as no surprise when you consider the stunning beach holiday and city break options that it offers customers and independent travel agents. Sicily, Sardinia, and Verona are a trio of Italian delights, and today’s announcement represents a significant expansion of all three destinations. Based on the demand we are seeing, we expect these flights and holidays to sell very quickly as customers look to escape to these magical destinations.”
