Flynas Launches First Riyadh-Montenegro Direct Flights

Starting on July 28, 2022, Flynas launched the first direct flights between Riyadh and Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro “Black Mountain”.

Flynas, formerly Nas Air, is the leading low-cost domestic and international airline based in Saudi Arabia, the country’s first budget airline. The company’s head office is located in Riyadh.

Weekly, every Thursday, Flynas will conduct flights between Riyadh and Podgorica, back and forth, from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh to Podgorica International Airport. Saudis will be able to enter the Podgorica International Airport without a visa until September 30, 2022.

Podgorica is a spectacular destination that can offer a plethora of activities to all kinds of tourists who decide to explore this amazing land. Its strategic location puts it only an hour away from the Adriatic Sea and at the same time, an hour from the mountains can satisfy the visitors who love indulging in water activities as well as people who love hiking and outdoor sports. It is enriched with many historical and tourist sites making it a centre for launching and exploration. In addition to green spaces, mesmerising architecture, and museums and cafes where you can spend hours without even noticing, it also is the home to the Skadar Lake Park, the largest lake in southern Europe, only a short distance from the city.

Since its establishment in 2007, Flynas has transported more than 60 million passengers by connecting over 70 domestic and international destinations with more than 35 aircraft in its fleet.

According to recent ratings on APEX Official Airline Rating which is a non-profit organization, Flynas achieved the highest rating in the 4-star low-cost carrier category. The 4-star low-cost carrier category is the most prestigious category for low-cost airlines among 600 companies globally.

Furthermore, for seven years consecutively, the World Travel Awards has ranked Flynas as the Leading Low-Cost Airline in the Middle East.
